RS Feva Boat Fund
Help launch the next generation of RStLYC sailors
Promoting youth sailing education and training is an integral part of who we are at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club (RStLYC). For over 80 years, the junior sailing program at our Club has helped shape the lives of thousands of young sailors.
Through our program, youth develop confidence, independence, and a deep connection to the water, all while gaining practical life skills like teamwork, self-discipline, and leadership. Our program has produced Olympians, Pan Am medalists, and world champions — and it all starts with our program having the right boats.
Why we’re raising funds
To continue delivering top-tier instruction and racing development, we need to modernize our fleet. Our goal is to purchase 6 new RS Feva sailboats — a leading and durable double-handed dinghy enjoyed by youth sailors around the world.
The RS Feva is fun, safe, fast, and versatile. With its modern rigging and capsize-friendly design, it’s the ideal boat for helping youth transition from learning to racing. These boats are used by top sailing schools internationally and acquiring them will place the RStLYC at the forefront of youth sailing education in Canada.
This is more than a boat purchase
It’s an investment in our community’s next generation, one that fosters personal growth, athletic achievement, and a lifelong love of sailing.
With your support, we’ll give our young sailors the tools they need to thrive… and develop into the next racing champions on the world stage!
Donate today
Help us keep our junior sailing program strong, our fleet modern, and our young athletes inspired to become future champions. Whether you’re a past junior sailor, proud parent, or supportive member, your donation will make a lasting impact.
