Junior Sailing Programs

Which Junior Sailing program to choose from?

The following are the Royal St. Lawrence Programs. It is important to keep in mind the weight and height of your child since these affect which boat is most appropriate for your child to enjoy sailing. Children who sail in our programs must be able to swim and be able to get back in a boat when they capsize. The instructors will teach the children how to get back in the boat but this does require some athleticism.

Wet Feet

Wet Feet is a fun program at the RStLYC aimed at young children who want to learn about sailing and water safety. The curriculum consists of lifejacket safety and how to balance, sit and move in a small sailboat. Additional activities include arts and crafts, plus swimming. The goal of this program is to get children comfortable in small boats and prepare them to move on to our Learn-to-Sail program. Kids will be placed two per boat. Sessions of 1 week for $370.
